Our people are the key to our success. A cliché in some places, but very true at Arcas. We hire and develop people who bring expertise, experience, professionalism and integrity to their work.

Our staff likes working at Arcas: an anonymous survey of 26 employees in late 2006 by Quantium Inc. produced an average response of 3.9 out of 5.0 to the question: On a scale of 1 (Low) to 5 (High), overall, how satisfied are you at Arcas?

Employees stay at Arcas: we promote careers, not jobs, at Arcas. Several of our archaeologists have worked at Arcas for more than 15 years, bringing continuity, mentoring, expertise and more than 250 years of experience.

Our archaeologists are members of the BC Association of Professional Archaeologists, and work in accordance with the Standards and Code of Conduct of the Association. Many have the designation Registered Professional Consulting Archaeologist (RPCA) and can hold various permits under provincial heritage legislation.
